
Teachers cop a lot of flack for how many holidays they get….they need them.
The stats are very dire and often the system teachers work within doesn’t do them any favours.

-More than half of principals and teachers are considering leaving their profession within the next year
-Over half of teachers are experiencing moderate to severe symptoms of depression, with anxiety (46.2%) and stress (59.7%) also significantly higher than the general population.
-60% of teacher absences are related to mental health or emotional issues
What gets teachers into the profession in
the first place is a passion for nurturing and supporting learning.

My first ever exposure to Breathwork was at a weekend retreat near Byron Bay. And whilst the session was attended mostly by big wave surfers, I enjoyed the relaxation aspect of Bretts morning classes that weekend. Going into the breathing class I didn’t really know what to expect. I hadn’t done anything like this before and was a little nervous.
